The Playa in Cologne is a versatile event venue in Cologne where celebrations can combine a beach atmosphere with sporting activities. Event planners can enquire about individual areas or the entire venue for groups of around 25 to 600 people. The venue caters, among others, for companies planning a summer party or Christmas party, as well as hosts celebrating birthdays and weddings.

Smaller groups can use a lounge with its own bar and terraces. The event hall has space for celebrations with a dance floor, dinner or bespoke seating arrangements. A beer garden, partly covered, is also available. Those needing more space or wanting to combine different activities can book the entire venue, including its outdoor areas and beach volleyball courts.

The Playa's setting changes with the seasons. In the warmer months, sand, beach sports and the beer garden shape the atmosphere. In winter, it becomes a cosy setting with seasonal options such as ice stock curling and fondue, making it suitable for Christmas parties too. Depending on the event, sporting activities, a meal together and a party afterwards can all take place in one venue. The Playa is therefore ideal for event planners looking for a relaxed alternative to traditional function rooms and wanting to offer guests both indoor and outdoor spaces. Those interested can ask the team about the different areas and ways to use them when planning their event.
