Camanche Shelter

Camanche Shelter is an outdoor venue available to hire at Micke Grove Regional Park in Lodi, California. Set near Wortley Lake and the park's water play feature, it offers a green, open-air setting for group gatherings, family celebrations, company picnics and other occasions. The shelter can accommodate up to 350 guests, making it a practical option for organisers seeking a sizeable park venue.

Facilities include 42 picnic tables, four BBQ grills and serving counters, as well as a water supply and electricity. Amplified sound is permitted, so organisers can arrange music or a PA system for their gathering. A nearby playground, restrooms and parking add convenience for guests, while the park's lawns and natural surroundings provide space to enjoy the day outdoors. Bounce houses are permitted only when supplied by a vendor approved by the county.

The venue is reserved through San Joaquin County Parks. Shelter hire is scheduled from 8 am to 8 pm, and bookings are handled by the parks office on weekdays. Parking is charged separately from the shelter booking, with discounted vehicle passes available for some reservations. The county also sets cancellation and date-change conditions, so organisers should check the current terms when making arrangements.

Camanche Shelter is one of several reservable facilities at Micke Grove Regional Park. Its combination of group capacity, picnic seating, cooking facilities and nearby park amenities suits planners looking for a relaxed outdoor location rather than a catered indoor function room. Organisers should confirm availability, current fees, park rules and any vendor requirements directly with the county before booking.
