Lydick Event Center

Lydick Event Center is a private-use venue in South Bend, Indiana, available for weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, graduation celebrations, corporate events and other gatherings. The flexible hall can host up to 100 guests, and only one event is booked on each date, giving organisers exclusive use of the space for their occasion.

Tables and chairs are included, with quantities intended to accommodate groups of up to 100. The main hall has a 12-foot ceiling and can be arranged to suit different event styles, from a seated celebration to a more open party layout. Organisers can bring their own food and decorations, allowing them to choose their preferred menu and personalise the room. The venue does not provide food or drink, and can share vendor recommendations after a booking is made.

Rental periods include time for setting up and clearing away. Options are available for six- or twelve-hour hires, with additional choices offered when booking. Prospective clients can view date availability through the venue's online calendar, select any rental options, then complete a contract and pay a deposit to secure the date. The venue advises that preparations take place within the booked rental period rather than the night before.

Located on West Edison Road on the west side of South Bend, the centre is a short drive from downtown, the University of Notre Dame and the regional airport. Its straightforward booking process and adaptable room make it a practical option for organisers seeking a locally based space for an intimate-to-medium-sized event.
