Cecil Cottage & Gardens

Cecil Cottage & Gardens is a small, private-hire venue in Eugene, Oregon, for weddings and intimate celebrations. Its cottage-style indoor space can seat around 15 guests, while the surrounding garden extends the setting outdoors for gatherings of up to approximately 50. Organisers can use the indoor and outdoor areas together, with the landscaped grounds offering a relaxed backdrop for ceremonies, receptions and informal get-togethers.

The venue welcomes a range of occasions, including weddings, birthday parties, receptions, baby showers and book clubs. The garden includes a fenced lawn, fruit trees, a water feature and several places to sit, giving guests room to mingle or enjoy time outside. There is guest parking on site, and the building has heating, air conditioning and a half bathroom. Tables and chairs can be provided at no extra charge on request.

The space is available to hire by the day, with weekday rates listed separately from Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookings. Hourly hire is also mentioned in the supplied business information, so organisers should confirm current availability and pricing directly with the venue. Tours can be arranged, and the owners invite event planners to discuss their ideas and preferred dates.

For couples planning a wedding, the venue allows hosts to shape their own day. Optional experiences such as shamanic drumming, guided meditation and tarot readings may also be incorporated by arrangement. With its modest indoor capacity and generous garden, the property is best suited to smaller events where a personal, informal setting is preferred over a large function room.
