Kulturzentrum Johanniskirche Löbau

Johannisplatz 6-8, 02708 Löbau, Germany

Kulturzentrum Johanniskirche Löbau offers an exceptional venue in the historic nave of a former monastery church. The combination of sacred architecture and modern use creates a distinctive setting for event planners looking for a characterful space for their programme.

The hall can be used for a range of different formats. These include concerts, theatre and cabaret, film screenings, exhibitions, sales and promotional fairs, as well as formal receptions and prestige events. Civil wedding ceremonies can also be held at Johanniskirche. Depending on the occasion, the nave can be arranged with rows of seats. This provides 170 seats in the nave and a further 50 in the galleries.

There is a stage with an in-house sound system for performances. Artists can use three dressing rooms and a permanently fitted staff and toilet area. A spacious foyer with a cafeteria on the upper floor complements the event space. There is also a cloakroom for around 300 guests. The venue therefore offers practical facilities for stage programmes as well as suitable spaces for receptions and guests to spend time in.

Organisers can enquire about available dates and get advice on the venue's possible uses. The cultural centre is suitable for public cultural events as well as private and business occasions where a historic venue in a central location in Löbau is required. The specific room details and how best to use the space can be discussed directly with the team.
