ARU Venue Hire

ARU Venue Hire offers event organisers a choice of rooms at Anglia Ruskin University's Cambridge campus. The spaces suit a range of business gatherings, from small meetings and training sessions to larger conferences, presentations and workshops. The smallest meeting rooms accommodate around 16 people, while the largest lecture theatre can seat up to 400, with other classrooms and theatres available between these sizes.

Rooms are equipped for presentations, with projectors, screens, speakers and connections for presenters' laptops. Some larger spaces also have PA systems and fixed microphones. Complimentary guest Wi-Fi is available, and the university's IT team can provide support during working hours. Additional help for evening or weekend events can be arranged for a fee. Organisers can enquire about room hire by the four-hour, eight-hour or full-day period, and day delegate packages are also available.

Food and drink are provided by ARU's in-house catering team, with options including working lunches, hot buffets, refreshments and drinks receptions. The venue team can help match a room to the event and discuss catering, equipment and practical requirements. The Cambridge campus is close to the city centre and accessible by public transport. On-site parking is very limited and generally reserved for Blue Badge holders by prior arrangement. Room hire is subject to availability, particularly as many spaces are also used for university teaching, so organisers should contact the team with their dates and expected attendance.
