The Venue on Cortez

The Venue on Cortez is a historic indoor and outdoor event venue in downtown Prescott, Arizona, formerly known as Prescott Wedding Chapel. Its restored chapel and courtyard spaces provide a setting for wedding ceremonies, receptions and other gatherings, with room for celebrations of up to 100 guests.

Wedding packages range from shorter, intimate bookings for up to 50 guests to longer options for groups of up to 100. Depending on the package, organisers can make use of the chapel and courtyards, a bridal suite, church pews, round tables, chairs, linens and a catering preparation area. Some packages also include a rehearsal, support from a professional month-of coordinator and access to a preferred local supplier list. For couples who want to extend their celebration, the property has a private two-bedroom, two-bath cottage, and one package includes a two-night stay.

The venue also welcomes private and corporate events beyond weddings. Birthdays, anniversaries, holiday gatherings and community fundraisers can use the indoor event space and outdoor courtyards. A catering prep area and optional rental items are available, while event coordination can be arranged as an additional option. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss event pricing and suitability for their plans.

With historic character, several spaces on one property and practical event furnishings included in selected packages, The Venue on Cortez offers organisers a flexible place for intimate ceremonies, receptions and milestone celebrations in Prescott. The on-site cottage can also provide a convenient place for the wedding party to stay and prepare during a multi-day celebration.
