Muthaussaal der Burg Hardeg

Burgstraße 2, 37181 Hardegsen, Germany

The Muthaussaal at Burg Hardeg in Hardegsen offers event planners historic rooms for meetings, conferences and private celebrations. The rooms are located within the castle grounds and combine a medieval atmosphere with a range of sizes and uses. For larger gatherings, the Muthaussaal, also known as the Weißer Saal, offers around 180 square metres of space. Depending on the seating arrangement, there are rectangular or round tables and up to 150 chairs. Stage sections can be added if required, for example for speeches, a programme or musical performances.

The vaulted cellar, at around 120 square metres, is suitable for smaller or more sociable events. It is permanently set up for up to 80 people and has a serving area and fridges. The Grünhagener Zimmer, at around 35 square metres, can also be booked. An adjoining kitchen with crockery, a fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine, as well as the foyer, are also available for use.

This makes the venue suitable for both celebratory gatherings and business events with different room requirements. Kultur-Initiative Hardegsen provides information about available dates and offers viewings, so event planners can see the rooms before booking. An occupancy plan helps check which dates have already been booked. For food, drinks and other services, the initiative refers organisers to regional partners. This allows organisers to add suitable options and shape their celebration or meeting to suit their own preferences.
