Les Granges du Chesnay

2 Sente des Mésanges, 91150 Étampes, France

In Étampes, Les Granges du Chesnay hosts weddings, private celebrations and corporate events in a former 19th-century farmhouse. The venue combines the character of a historic building with spaces designed for events: exposed stonework, visible beams, high ceilings and a tree-lined courtyard create a warm, rural setting.
Organisers can choose between two rooms, including a large room that can accommodate up to 180 people seated. Tables, chairs and sound equipment are available. Depending on the programme, the outdoor areas can be used for a drinks reception, a wedding drinks reception, activities or a humanist ceremony. The spaces also lend themselves to birthdays, christenings, receptions and corporate events such as conferences, company meals or incentive days.
For weddings, the venue supports couples as they prepare for their reception and can recommend partners, particularly for catering, a DJ, photography or entertainment. Organisers are free to choose their own caterer, and a kitchen is available for their use. The room can be hired without catering.
A spacious car park makes it easy to welcome guests. On-site accommodation is also available, with several sleeping arrangements and a gypsy caravan for the newlyweds. The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The room is available to hire from Saturday morning until Sunday, a practical option for organising the reception and making the most of the venue over several key moments.
