The Sanfilippo Foundation

The Sanfilippo Foundation coordinates a distinctive event setting at the Sanfilippo Estate in Barrington, Illinois. This is a private residence, not a conventional venue open for general hire. The Foundation makes it available by arrangement for charity events and a limited number of corporate sponsor events, with fundraising for charitable organisations central to its work. It does not offer the estate for weddings, wedding-related activities, children's parties or personal celebrations.

The setting brings together a remarkable collection of historic automatic musical instruments, mechanical antiques and attractions. Event experiences can include guided access to the collection, demonstrations of music machines, performances on the theatre organ and time in the Carousel Pavilion. The estate also includes a restored salon carousel, steam engines, clocks and a historic railway car. Depending on the occasion, these distinctive features can give a fundraising evening or corporate gathering an unusual cultural and musical focus.

The Foundation also coordinates docent-guided group tours, generally for groups of 40 or more, and presents its own concerts and special events. Public-facing events are arranged in advance, with tickets and visitor details shared through the Foundation or the charity hosting the occasion. Event organisers interested in a charity fundraiser or eligible corporate event should contact the Foundation to discuss arrangements. The estate's private-residence status and limited event availability mean it is best suited to carefully planned occasions rather than standard venue hire.
