Make CIC

Make on the Corner is a flexible, hireable space in Huyton, Liverpool, run by Make CIC. It offers event organisers and community groups a practical setting for gatherings that need room to meet, make, learn or showcase creative work. The open, adaptable space can be used for meetings, workshops, classes, exhibitions and rehearsals, as well as pop-up shops, consultations and product photography.

The venue is suited to organisers looking for something less formal than a traditional function room. Artists and makers can use it to present work or run activities, while businesses and community organisations can arrange team meetings, interviews, talks and collaborative sessions. Fitness and wellbeing classes, craft clubs and support groups are among the formats the space can accommodate. Make CIC also runs its own programme of classes and community activities at the venue.

The team can help organisers consider the layout and equipment needed for their booking. Furniture and equipment are available for many uses, and the venue can recommend local catering if refreshments are part of the plan. Its location on Derby Road places it in Huyton Village, close to public transport and local parking options.

Make on the Corner is particularly well suited to smaller-scale, creative and community-focused events where flexibility matters. Organisers can enquire about hiring the space for their own event, meeting, workshop or exhibition, while the venue's ongoing programme brings local people together through arts, learning and shared activities.
