Eventhouse Dortmund

Hohensyburgerstr. 181, 44265 Dortmund, Germany

Eventhouse Dortmund rents out a distinctive venue at Hohensyburg for private celebrations and business events. The historic building, made of Ruhr sandstone, sits above the Ruhr Valley and combines characterful architecture with a spacious hall and landscaped outdoor areas. Inside, an open gable, high ceilings and striking steel beams shape the atmosphere. A wedding lawn and areas beneath old chestnut trees are available for receptions and special moments outdoors.

The venue is suitable for weddings, humanist ceremonies, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate parties. Conferences, seminars and meetings can also be held here. The organisers can arrange the seating in different ways to suit each occasion. The website lists a capacity of around 70 to 110 people for seated events and up to 250 guests for a relaxed celebration with high tables. For weddings, the outdoor area makes it possible to plan the ceremony and the celebration afterwards in one place. The nearby historic surroundings also provide attractive backdrops for photos.

The team supports event planners with tailored preparations and offers catering as an additional service. This includes a range of food options, such as set menus, buffets, finger food and barbecue. The venue has on-site parking. For guests who would like to stay in the area for longer, hotel rooms and suites are directly opposite. Viewings are available regularly and by appointment. Enquiries about dates, guest numbers and event requirements can be submitted using the booking form.
