The Rocket

The Rocket is part of London Metropolitan University's Holloway Road campus and offers event organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces. The wider venue includes the Great Hall, the more informal Rocket Café Bar and an adjoining courtyard, so organisers can select a setting to suit the scale and style of their gathering.

The Great Hall is a characterful space for conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs, award ceremonies, receptions and conventions. Its layouts can be adapted for theatre-style presentations, cabaret seating, dining or standing events. The Rocket Café Bar offers a more relaxed setting for social occasions and smaller gatherings, while the courtyard adds an outdoor area that can be used alongside the indoor spaces.

Together, these areas can accommodate different event formats, from formal presentations and delegate programmes to networking receptions and celebrations. The university lists on-site audio-visual and technical support, flexible furniture arrangements, catering options and a licensed bar among the facilities available. Organisers can enquire about hiring a space through the university's venue hire team.

The campus is on Holloway Road in north London, within walking distance of Holloway Road Underground station and served by nearby public transport. Its central location makes it a practical option for organisers bringing guests together from across London. With a large hall, a café-bar space and a courtyard on one campus, the venue can support events that need a mix of presentation, dining and informal social space.
