The Southern Ox Axe Throwing

The Southern Ox is an axe throwing venue in downtown Monroe, Georgia, where groups can book a coached session for a celebration, company outing or friendly competition. Guests receive instruction on throwing technique and safety before taking to the lanes, so first-timers and experienced throwers can join in. Coaches stay involved during sessions, helping participants get comfortable and guiding group games and tournaments.

Organisers can choose shared-lane sessions or arrange a private group event. Private bookings include a dedicated lane and coach, with a format that can progress from introductory coaching to round-robin play and a tournament. The venue caters for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate events, team building and other group occasions. Larger groups can enquire directly about arrangements for up to 80 or more participants.

Corporate packages can include axe throwing, meeting space with audiovisual equipment, catering arranged through local providers, bar options and full-facility hire, subject to enquiry. The venue also has a bar serving drinks, and organisers may ask about food arrangements for their group. For some birthday bookings, guests can bring a cake or cupcakes.

Bookings are available online for selected group sizes, while larger parties and corporate events can contact the team to discuss requirements. The Southern Ox offers event organisers an activity-led option for groups looking to bring guests together around a coached, social experience in Monroe.
