Bill Harris Arena

Bill Harris Arena is a large, flexible venue at Birmingham CrossPlex, suited to organisers planning events that need room for a substantial audience. The arena has seating for around 5,000 guests and approximately 20,000 square feet of floor space. Its configurable seating and open floor make it suitable for sports competitions, concerts, trade shows, rodeos, graduations, community gatherings and corporate events.

For sporting events, the arena can host basketball, wrestling, volleyball and cheerleading competitions. It also provides four team locker rooms, an officials' room and a trainer's room. Organisers can make use of two hospitality suites and a press box overlooking the arena floor. Additional meeting spaces include a conference room for smaller groups and a room that can be set up in theatre style for presentations or briefings.

The venue team offers event planning support and can advise on availability and rental arrangements. Catering and concessions are available through the CrossPlex's approved providers, while on-site services include technical support and event security arrangements. The wider complex has substantial on-site parking, with access for buses and vans, and is a short drive from central Birmingham. This combination of arena space, practical facilities and support makes Bill Harris Arena an option for organisers delivering public, sporting and business events in Alabama.
