The Old Barn at Field Farm

The Old Barn at Field Farm is a small, rural venue set on a working arable farm near Rolleston in Nottinghamshire. Organisers can enquire about exclusive private hire for celebrations and group occasions, including birthday parties, hen dos, christenings and team-building events. The barn's secluded farm setting offers a quieter alternative to a conventional function room, and the owners can discuss requirements and shape an activity to suit the group.

Hire can include a hosted activity and homemade refreshments. The venue has also welcomed a wedding, and its intimate country setting is suited to couples looking for a relaxed, rustic celebration. Enquirers are encouraged to get in touch to discuss their plans, as the offering is arranged around the occasion rather than presented as a fixed package.

Alongside private functions, the farm runs its own seasonal programme for adults and families. Activities have included craft and creative workshops, farm walks, children’s holiday sessions and themed seasonal events. These public sessions show the character of the setting, while private hire gives organisers scope to arrange a gathering for their own group. School and nursery visits are also offered, with farm-based activities such as vegetable picking and learning about crops. The business is family-run, with hospitality and homemade food forming part of the experience. Contact the venue directly to discuss availability, the activity and refreshments for a proposed event.
