Bürgerhaus Rees is a versatile event venue in the historic town centre, right on the market square. Event planners will find spaces here for meetings, conferences, concerts, theatre performances, family celebrations, club events and company parties. Depending on the occasion and seating layout, the venue can be set up for events of different sizes and formats.

At its heart is the large hall, with around 460 square metres of floor space, including a stage of approximately 130 square metres. It can accommodate around 400 people in a theatre-style layout, or around 320 guests seated at tables. A function room with theatre-style seating for up to 70 people is available for smaller gatherings. Both halls can be opened up to the adjoining foyer, which offers around 110 square metres of additional space for receptions and socialising. If needed, three conference rooms on the upper floor can also be used.

Facilities include spotlights and a control room, a kitchen and bar area, as well as a goods lift for transporting equipment to the stage and into the large hall. Changing rooms and ancillary rooms are available for performers, and a central cloakroom completes the facilities. The venue is therefore suitable for stage shows and concerts, as well as business meetings and private celebrations. The City of Rees organises events to suit individual requirements. Catering is available on request. With a range of room sizes, spaces that can be combined and a central location, event planners can choose the right setting for their programme.
