Water's Edge Events Park

Water's Edge Events Park is an event venue within the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio. Its location beside the Scioto River and within the Zoo gives organisers a distinctive setting for private celebrations, weddings, company gatherings and other catered events. The venue includes several spaces, so planners can consider different layouts and atmospheres for their occasion.

The plaza area has two pavilions and a stage, making it a useful option for gatherings that include presentations or entertainment. Along the river, two adjoining boardwalk pavilions combine indoor and outdoor areas, are heated, and have private restrooms. An additional heated building offers another indoor and outdoor event space. Organisers can enquire about hiring individual spaces or planning an event around the facilities available at Water's Edge.

The Columbus Zoo's event team supports a range of group occasions, including weddings, fundraisers, company picnics and family reunions. Catering and menu choices can be discussed when planning an event, and the Zoo also offers options for after-hours gatherings. Depending on the occasion and arrangements, guests may be able to add Zoo experiences to their visit. This riverside setting can suit planners looking for a venue with outdoor character as well as sheltered space, with the added appeal of hosting an event at a well-known wildlife attraction. Contact the event team to discuss availability, suitable spaces and arrangements for your group.
