Gracie Floyd Event Center at McFalls Landing

The Gracie Floyd Event Center at McFalls Landing is a county-managed venue on Broadway Lake in Anderson, South Carolina. Its lakeside location, large windows and vaulted ceiling create a welcoming setting for private celebrations and small business gatherings. Event planners can hire the centre for weddings and receptions, birthday and holiday parties, family reunions, baby showers, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, memorial gatherings, meetings and retreats.

Inside, the space can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated event or 275 for a standing gathering. The hire includes round and rectangular tables and chairs for indoor use, giving organisers a practical starting point for arranging their event. A food preparation area has a sink, refrigerator, microwave and power outlets for warming equipment. It is intended for preparation rather than a full catering service, so planners can make their own arrangements for food and drinks.

The centre also has a paved patio beside the lake and landscaped grounds, offering guests room to step outside and giving ceremonies and celebrations a scenic backdrop. The venue is available for half-day, full-day and two-day bookings, with set-up and clean-up included in the rental period. A refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. County security arrangements apply to events serving alcohol, hosting more than 150 guests or running late into the evening.

Managed by Anderson County Parks and Recreation, the venue is a straightforward option for organisers seeking a private function space with tables, chairs, a preparation kitchen and outdoor lake views in one location.
