Barnard's Inn Hall

Barnard's Inn Hall is a historic venue in Holborn, central London, available for daytime event hire. Set within a quiet courtyard, it offers an atmospheric setting for organisers seeking a distinctive place for meetings, lectures, conferences, receptions, book launches, AGMs and filming. The venue is managed by Gresham College, whose team can assist with planning and practical arrangements.

The Main Hall is the larger space, with room for up to 80 people in a theatre-style layout or standing reception, and up to 50 for a seated meal. It can also accommodate a smaller round-table discussion. The Council Chamber provides a more intimate option for board meetings and presentations, with a boardroom table and facilities for hybrid meetings. Organisers can use the courtyard for receptions when conditions allow, and the adjoining spaces may also serve as breakout rooms.

Hire includes chairs, tables, table linen, a lectern, kitchenette access, lighting, a sound system, microphones and television screens. The venue's audio-visual team can discuss additional support for filming, live streaming and other technical requirements. Staging, extra marquee provision, waiting staff and refreshments may be arranged at additional cost. A list of catering suppliers is available to help with food planning.

The building combines historic character with practical event facilities, including heating and air conditioning.
