The Stables Event Center

The Stables Event Center is a family-owned venue in Lafayette, Indiana, offering a countryside setting for weddings and other celebrations. Its main space is an 8,256-square-foot, climate-controlled barn that can seat up to 320 guests. The venue also has outdoor areas for wedding ceremonies and photographs, with pasture, woodland and a creek among the surrounding scenery.

The space is suited to couples planning a ceremony and reception, as well as organisers arranging birthdays, graduation celebrations, anniversaries, business meetings, holiday parties and other gatherings. Practical facilities include tables and chairs for up to 320 people, a covered patio, a front porch, accessible parking and separate private suites for the wedding couple. The team sets up and takes down the tables and chairs, helping organisers manage some of the venue logistics.

Event planners can arrange food through the venue's listed catering partners, and bar services are also available. The barn is equipped with audio facilities and projection screens for presentations or video, making it useful for corporate functions as well as social events. The venue describes itself as a flexible setting, so organisers can shape the room around their event, from a relaxed gathering to a more formal celebration.

Located just outside Lafayette, The Stables provides a rural backdrop while remaining close to the city and Purdue University. Organisers can contact the team to discuss availability, event requirements and the facilities suited to their plans.
