South East Dance

South East Dance offers a choice of rooms and studios for hire at The Dance Space, a contemporary venue in central Brighton. Organisers can book space for meetings, conferences, workshops, classes, rehearsals, performances and other events, with options suited to different group sizes and ways of working.

The Boardroom is a bright, wheelchair-accessible setting for team meetings, planning sessions and collaborative workshops. It accommodates up to 16 people and can be hired for a half day or a full day. For activities that need more room or a dance-friendly floor, the venue also has studio spaces, including the Weston Research Space, a ground-floor studio with a sprung floor and full-height windows. The Jamie Watton Creation Space offers a double-height setting with retractable seating, making it suitable for creative work, presentations and performances.

The Dance Space is designed around dance and the arts, but its facilities are also available to businesses, charities, community groups, teachers and organisations looking for a distinctive place to gather. Its central location makes it a practical choice for event planners bringing people together in Brighton. The venue is committed to accessibility, and meeting-room options include packages for different requirements. Charities and not-for-profit organisations may be eligible for discounted rates. Organisers can contact the hires team to discuss the right room, availability and arrangements for their event.
