Die Zentralheize rents out event spaces in the former Erfurt heating plant, an industrial heritage site near Theaterplatz. The building's historic character, with its brick walls, high ceilings and preserved industrial features, provides a distinctive setting for events, while modern event technology makes the rooms suitable for a range of formats.

The venue offers several areas that can be booked individually or in combination, depending on the occasion and number of guests. The larger rooms include the Kesselsaal, which measures around 700 square metres, the Maschinenhalle, covering around 400 square metres, and the Kohlenbunker, at around 250 square metres. Smaller rooms and workspaces are also available for meetings, quiet breaks or accompanying programme items. Capacity and seating arrangements vary depending on the room and type of event. The Kesselsaal and Maschinenhalle are wheelchair accessible.

The venue is aimed at business event organisers and is suitable for meetings, congresses, conferences, corporate events, galas, shows, trade fairs, exhibitions, concerts and Christmas parties, among other events. Technical support and other organisational services can be requested as needed. For example, the team can help organisers with event planning, invitation management and guest accreditation. An in-house catering service can be arranged to provide food and drink at events.

The central location in Erfurt makes it easy to get there by public transport or car. Trams run from the main railway station to the Theater stop. Multi-storey car parks are within walking distance. Organisers can view the rooms before booking and discuss their requirements directly with the team.
