The Event Center at Mill Race

The Event Center at Mill Race offers a welcoming setting for weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings and private celebrations in Columbus, Indiana. Set beside Mill Race Park, the venue looks out towards the park, lake and fountain, giving organisers scenic surroundings for both their event and photographs.

The main multipurpose room covers 4,000 square feet and can be arranged for different types of gatherings. It accommodates up to 250 guests in a theatre-style layout or 215 for a banquet, making it suitable for ceremonies, dinners, presentations and community occasions. Terraces add an outdoor area for guests to enjoy during the event.

Event planners can work with a licensed, properly insured caterer of their choice. A warming kitchen opens directly into the main room, supporting caterers as they prepare and serve food. The Event Center is available for private hire, with bookings accepted from Friday afternoon through Sunday. Organisers can arrange a tour and submit an event reservation enquiry through the venue's website. Its combination of flexible indoor space, outdoor terraces and park setting makes it a practical option for couples and event planners seeking a distinctive local venue.
