Wagenwerkplaats

Piet Mondriaanplein 59, 3812 GZ Amersfoort, Netherlands

De Wagenwerkplaats in Amersfoort is a site of industrial heritage with a range of spaces that organisers can hire for business and social events. The former railway workshop is within walking distance of Amersfoort Centraal station and combines historic buildings and railway details with modern facilities.

The options range from smaller spaces for meetings and workshops to large venues for conferences, trade fairs and corporate parties. De Rijtuigenloods can host events for up to 2,000 people and has several breakout rooms, permanent technical facilities and catering options. This makes the hall suitable for a plenary programme followed by sessions, dinner or a party. Het Centraal Ketelhuis is a monumental venue for business events and weddings. It offers spaces for receptions, dinners and meetings, as well as a terrace. Het Oude Magazijn and Seinhuis Post VI also offer their own options for events and overnight stays.

Couples can hold a ceremony and reception on the site, including at Het Centraal Ketelhuis, which is an official wedding venue for the municipality of Amersfoort. Business organisers can choose from options for seminars, product launches, training sessions and staff parties, among other events. Each venue has its own size and character, so you can choose one that suits the programme and the number of guests.

De Wagenwerkplaats is accessible by train, car and bicycle. With its combination of varied spaces, industrial architecture and facilities for groups of different sizes, the site is a versatile venue for events in Amersfoort.
