Aston Mills Arts

Aston Mills Arts is a community of professional artists based in a converted mill in Aston, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2022 when the former Heron Studios and Heron Crest Studios joined under one name, it brings together working artists, gallery spaces and facilities for creative classes and gatherings.

The gallery can be hired for events and meetings, offering organisers a setting surrounded by displays of work from resident and local artists. The organisation also runs a teaching studio available to rent by the evening, day or week. It is intended for artists leading classes and workshops, and includes easels, tables, chairs, screens and taborets. The space has step-free first-floor access, nearby parking, bathrooms and clean-up sinks, making it practical for hands-on sessions.

Alongside private hires, Aston Mills Arts presents gallery exhibitions, open studio days and an annual art show and sale. These public programmes give visitors the chance to view and buy artwork and discover the artists working in the building. The studios are generally visited by appointment outside scheduled open events. For event planners, the gallery and teaching studio provide options for meetings, art workshops and other creative gatherings, while the wider arts community lends the venue an established, independent character. Organisers can contact Aston Mills Arts to discuss availability, arrange a visit and find out which space best suits their plans.
