The Barrel House

The Barrel House is a historic event venue in Fort Wayne, Indiana, set in a restored carriage house connected with the area's brewing heritage. Its characterful setting is available for weddings, elopements, private celebrations and corporate gatherings, offering event planners an intimate alternative to a large hotel or convention venue.

The event centre is approximately 2,200 square feet and can welcome up to 100 guests. Exposed brick and timber lend warmth and a distinctive look, while modern updates make the space practical for hosting. A full catering kitchen and bar are provided, with refrigeration, ice machines, a warming oven and freezer. This gives organisers room to work with their chosen food service arrangements, whether planning a reception, dinner or more informal celebration.

The venue is designed to support wedding events in particular, with getting-ready suites available on the property. On-site accommodation includes the Wildflower, Hideout and Nest suites, giving couples and guests the option to stay close to the celebration. The venue's spaces can also suit family gatherings, milestone birthdays, reunions, holiday parties and business events.

Located a short distance from downtown Fort Wayne, The Barrel House combines a historic atmosphere with a convenient city location. Event planners can contact the team to discuss their date, guest numbers and requirements, or arrange a tour to see the rooms and consider how the venue might work for their occasion.
