Merchant Hall

Merchant Hall is a restored event venue in Holland, Michigan, offering a characterful setting for weddings, private celebrations and selected business events. The historic building dates from 1910 and features original-style tin ceilings, maple floors, exposed brick and a marble entrance, giving the room a distinctive look for both formal occasions and relaxed gatherings.

Organisers can book the hall for wedding ceremonies and receptions, wedding and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation parties, holiday celebrations, formal dinners, concerts and corporate events. Layouts suit different formats and guest numbers: the room can accommodate up to 110 people for a ceremony, around 64 for a seated dinner, and up to 180 for a standing reception. Tables and chairs are included, with an initial room set-up available as part of the booking.

The venue offers packages for weddings, evening events and weekend afternoon celebrations, with online availability and booking. Some packages include private use of Merchant Hall and access to the adjoining Brew Merchant bar, while other bookings use the bar area during its public opening. Food may be brought in when it has been prepared in a licensed kitchen, and outside alcohol is not permitted. Available amenities include high-speed internet, a television, a Sonos speaker, outdoor seating, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. An event coordinator can also be added for planning support and on-site assistance. This flexible, well-equipped space gives event planners a practical choice for intimate gatherings and larger receptions alike.
