Bilsteinhalle Edermünde

Friedhofstraße 17, 34295 Edermünde, Germany

Bilsteinhalle in Edermünde-Besse is a municipal multipurpose hall for event organisers from associations and institutions. It is suitable for a range of formats, including major sporting events, cultural gatherings and trade fairs. According to the municipality, the hall cannot be hired for private celebrations. Event planners should therefore check in advance whether their organisation and the nature of their event meet the requirements for use, and whether their preferred date is available.

The usable hall area covers around 840 square metres. A spectators' gallery offers additional views of the proceedings, and around 480 seats can be arranged in the event area. For stage events, platforms can be assembled to create a stage. A bar and additional ancillary rooms complete the facilities. According to the municipal regulations governing use, the kitchen and group room with bar can be used in connection with an event in the hall.

Lighting and sound equipment are not part of the venue's permanently installed facilities and must be hired externally if required. Seating, set-up and dismantling, and arrangements for decorations should also be taken into account when planning. Requirements apply to protect the hall floor and hand back the rooms after non-sporting events. Bookings are made through the municipality of Edermünde, which also provides information about the conditions of use and fees. The hall therefore offers associations and institutions a spacious, adaptable setting for events that require plenty of room and a good view of the programme.
