Ring-Café Finsterwalde

Kleine Ringstraße 8, 03238 Finsterwalde, Germany

Ring-Café Finsterwalde is an exceptional venue in the historic Kaufmannshaus „Ad. Bauer's Wwe.“ in the city centre. The former business premises and old goods storehouse combine the character of a listed building with a personal atmosphere steeped in history. Organisers can use the rooms for events on request.

The venue is best known for the Finsterwalder Stadtgespräche. Since 2000, talks and readings have been held here with guests from politics, culture, literature, film, theatre and science. Afterwards, the focus is on exchanging ideas with the audience. At these evenings, a buffet and musical performances complement the programme. The series offers inspiration for event planners looking for a setting for cultural events, discussion evenings or readings.

The distinctive atmosphere is shaped by historic shop fittings, a seven-metre-long Art Nouveau counter and numerous exhibits relating to the eventful history of the building. The rooms are also used as a salon and private museum. Changing exhibitions and participation in Open Monument Day also make the venue accessible to interested visitors. Parking is available directly in front of the building and at the rear. If you are planning an event in a unique setting steeped in history, you can ask Ring-Café whether the rooms are available for your occasion.
