Sefton's Barn at The Horse Trust

Sefton's Barn at The Horse Trust is a distinctive venue for organisers seeking a countryside setting in the Chiltern Hills. The restored Grade II-listed tithe barn combines historic character with practical facilities for private celebrations and business events. It is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as meetings, training sessions, seminars, conferences, award ceremonies, exhibitions, wakes and other gatherings.

The venue can welcome up to 100 guests for a reception-style event. Hire includes exclusive use of the barn and its enclosed lawn, giving organisers indoor and outdoor options. Tables and chairs are provided, alongside a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery and glassware. Audio-visual equipment is available for presentations and online meetings, and there is on-site parking for up to 50 vehicles, including accessible spaces.

Organisers can bring their own suppliers, with recommendations available from the venue if needed. Catering can be arranged through a preferred provider or organised independently, allowing clients to choose an approach that suits their event. The barn is set within the grounds of The Horse Trust, a charity caring for retired working horses and animals in need. Venue hire therefore supports the charity's work, giving events a meaningful connection to the setting.

Located on Slad Lane near Princes Risborough, Sefton's Barn offers a peaceful rural backdrop while serving a range of event formats. Its combination of heritage architecture, flexible indoor and outdoor space, useful facilities and charitable purpose makes it a considered choice for weddings, family occasions and professional gatherings.
