The Space Next Door

The Space Next Door is a private event venue in Ridgewood, Queens, for organisers planning celebrations and gatherings for groups of around 40 to 90 guests. The room can be arranged for seated dinners, cocktail receptions and other private functions, with a stated seated capacity of up to 80 and standing reception capacity of up to 90.

The venue hosts birthdays, baby and bridal showers, weddings and engagement celebrations, retirement parties, graduations and corporate events. Its compact scale suits occasions where guests can share a meal and socialise in one dedicated space. Organisers can discuss layouts and décor to suit the event, while a large video wall, additional screens, sound system and adjustable lighting support presentations, slideshows, branded visuals and entertainment.

Food and drink packages are available through the venue. Menus can include Italian dishes, fresh pasta, Neapolitan-style pizza, American favourites and Mediterranean-inspired options. Organisers can choose buffet or seated dining, with menus tailored to the occasion. Bar options include open-bar packages and craft cocktails, and a private chef may also be available by arrangement. The venue lists extras such as custom décor, video wall content and private karaoke.

Located on Metropolitan Avenue, The Space Next Door welcomes enquiries for private dining and event bookings. Organisers can contact the team with their date, guest numbers and event requirements to discuss suitable arrangements and package details.
