Somerhaus

Somerhaus is a private event venue in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighbourhood, close to Washington Park. Set in a converted warehouse, the 3,080-square-foot space pairs industrial features with abundant greenery, natural light, distinctive furnishings and artwork. Its open layout can be arranged to suit different event styles, from long-table dinners and ceremonies to meetings, workshops and cocktail receptions.

The venue welcomes weddings, including micro-weddings and receptions, as well as rehearsal dinners, showers, brunches, birthdays and other private celebrations. Organisers can also book the space for corporate meetings, team gatherings, product launches, networking events, fundraisers, dinners and photo shoots. The whole venue is hired for private functions rather than separate rooms.

Capacity depends on the layout. Somerhaus states that it can host up to 100 guests for a standing reception or ceremony-style seating, while its supplied tables and chairs can accommodate up to 80 people for a seated event. Tables, chairs, lounge furniture, a sound system, wireless microphones and Wi-Fi are among the listed facilities. The venue also provides access to a kitchen finishing area for caterers, and can arrange setup support and an on-site coordinator. Catering is arranged through preferred suppliers rather than presented as the venue's core service.

Located in a lively, historic district, Somerhaus offers nearby public parking options and access to local transport. The team arranges private bookings and venue tours, and can help organisers consider layouts, timings and venue operations. It is suited to hosts seeking a characterful urban setting that can be adapted for both social occasions and professional events.
