Shangri-La Event Center

Shangri-La Event Center is a lakeside venue in Garrettsville, Ohio, for weddings and other private or company events. Its grounds bring together a large lake, landscaped gardens, mature trees, wooded areas and a sandy beach, giving organisers several outdoor settings to choose from. Couples can hold a ceremony beside the water or on an island, with boat access available for a distinctive arrival.

A reinforced event tent accommodates up to 300 guests. The clubhouse includes a kitchen and changing rooms, while the wider property offers a full-service Tiki bar, a fire pit, a lit volleyball court, a pergola by the beach and a pontoon boat. Bridges, lawns and garden areas provide additional places for guests to gather and for event photographs. Golf carts are available to help move guests around the grounds, and accessible restroom facilities are provided.

The venue is particularly suited to couples looking to host both their ceremony and reception in one setting. Its outdoor spaces and tent can also be considered for family celebrations and company gatherings. Two on-site properties are available for overnight stays: the Lake House sleeps up to eight people, and the Cabin sleeps up to six. Both offer guests a convenient base on the property.

Organisers can contact the venue to discuss dates and arrangements for their event. With its lakeside location, multiple ceremony options and on-site facilities, Shangri-La offers a setting where guests can spend the day together across several distinct spaces.
