The Teapot

The Teapot is a private event venue in Downtown Phoenix, set in a restored Craftsman home dating from 1906. Its characterful house, covered porches and enclosed garden offer organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor settings, with capacity for celebrations of up to 80 guests. The venue is reserved exclusively for each booking, making it a suitable choice for gatherings that call for a relaxed, personal atmosphere rather than a conventional function room.

The space is used for intimate and micro weddings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches, as well as baby and bridal showers, birthdays, graduations, private parties and celebrations of life. Corporate organisers can also book it for team gatherings, networking events, fundraisers, client occasions and after-work socials. The combination of indoor rooms, porches and garden areas gives guests room to mingle and provides sheltered options if the weather changes. Inside the historic home, air conditioning offers a comfortable alternative during hot Phoenix weather. Families can make use of a dedicated play area in the garden, which can be kept closed when it is not needed.

Organisers can bring their own food, arrange an outside caterer or select the venue's in-house catering. The staffed bar serves drinks including coffee, tea, wine, beer, champagne, mimosas and cocktails. Tables and chairs are included, and a member of the venue team can support the event. Hosts are welcome to bring event professionals such as photographers, florists and DJs, and can personalise the space with decorations within the venue's guidelines. The Teapot is in the Roosevelt Historic District, near Roosevelt Row, and offers venue tours for planners who want to see the house and garden before booking.
