Beckendorff Farms

Beckendorff Farms is a historic farm venue in Katy, Texas, offering event organisers a distinctive setting for weddings and other special occasions. Its main feature is a large timber barn, originally built in the mid-19th century and later reassembled on the family farm. Exposed beams and traditional materials give the space a rustic character, while chandeliers and other modern touches provide a polished setting for celebrations.

Couples can plan an indoor or outdoor ceremony, followed by a reception in the barn. The property also includes a chapel, with seating for up to 200 guests, while the barn can accommodate up to 300 for a seated dinner. A bridal suite gives the wedding party a place to prepare, and the venue provides tables and chairs, a bar area and a day-of coordinator. The venue's stated rental arrangements include six hours of event time, with additional time available by arrangement.

Beckendorff Farms offers a venue for the event rather than a full in-house catering service. Organisers can work with the venue's required caterers, or request approval to bring an outside caterer subject to the venue's conditions. The farm also allows clients to provide alcoholic drinks, which must be served by a suitably licensed bartender through the caterer.

The working farm and surrounding grounds add a rural backdrop for ceremonies, photographs and gatherings. With its historic barn, dedicated ceremony spaces and practical wedding-day support, Beckendorff Farms is suited to couples seeking a countryside venue near Houston for a carefully planned celebration.
