The Town of Pontorson offers its function room for hire at place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, for events and local gatherings. With a stated capacity of 150 people seated, it is suitable for a drinks reception, a meeting or other events held in a communal setting. The room cannot be hired for a meal, an important detail to bear in mind when choosing a venue and planning your reception.
Rates vary according to the type of event and where the applicant lives. Local associations are entitled to one free hire per year, subject to the town's conditions. To find out about availability, booking arrangements and the conditions that apply to your plans, contact the municipal department responsible for room hire. The booking is confirmed only once the signed contract has been returned. A valid certificate of public liability insurance is also required.
This venue is part of Pontorson's range of municipal rooms, which also includes other spaces suited to different uses and capacities. If your event includes a buffet or meal, ask the town about the multi-purpose hall, which is also available to hire. By specifying the nature of your event, the number of attendees and your requirements, you can check whether the function room is right for your plans.
