Rooftop Event Spot

Rooftop Event Spot is a private event venue in Historic Downtown Plano, set on the fourth floor of the original Plano Ice House. Its 4,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space gives organisers room to shape celebrations and business events around the occasion, with panoramic views and a patio adding an open-air option.

The venue welcomes weddings, ceremonies and receptions, as well as corporate celebrations, meetings and social gatherings. It can host up to 200 guests for a standing cocktail-style event. For seated events, capacity depends on the layout and whether a dance floor is required, with space for up to 130 guests with a dance floor or around 170 without one. Wedding ceremonies and receptions can accommodate up to 130 guests.

Room hire packages include a private room, tables and chairs, black linens, tableware and barware, café lighting, use of vintage and patio furniture, and access to the venue's AV system. The team can arrange the set-up of furniture and decorations, provide an event host and help with a customised floor plan. Packages also include clean-up and planning support, with in-person meetings available before the event. Couples booking both a ceremony and reception can use the bridal suite and have the room transformed after the ceremony.

Food and drink are provided through the venue's exclusive catering partners, Urban Crust and Urban Rio, with limited exceptions such as wedding cakes. Organisers can enquire about their event or arrange a site visit to explore the space and discuss a suitable set-up.
