Reeds & Rushes

Reeds & Rushes is a lakeside wedding and event venue in Howard Lake, Minnesota, set on five and a half acres beside Mallard Pass Lake. Its indoor and outdoor spaces give event planners options for ceremonies, receptions, celebrations and gatherings, with a maximum capacity of 214 guests.

The Great Hall provides a spacious setting for seated dinners, ceremonies and other group events. Fireside Hall, with its tall ceilings and fireplace, can be used for a cocktail hour, a smaller ceremony or as a connecting space. Outdoors, the lakeside grounds, viewing dock, patios and pergola areas offer room for ceremonies, photographs and guest gatherings. The venue can also be arranged for meetings, retreats, trainings and other business events.

For wedding parties, the property has two preparation suites, including lounge and kitchenette facilities. A multi-sport simulator is also available for guests. The venue's team provides staffing and management, and couples can receive day-of coordination to help with the lead-up and running of the wedding. Tables, chairs and other venue equipment are included, with set-up and take-down support for the venue's items. Organisers may bring their own caterer, and the venue can share recommendations for other suppliers. Full-day and shorter reception rental options are available, with additional time or rehearsal access discussed when booking.

Reeds & Rushes offers event planners a combination of lakefront scenery, flexible indoor and outdoor gathering areas and practical support for planning a wedding or other occasion. Tours and date enquiries can be arranged directly with the venue.
