NDSM Loods is a unique event venue in a former shipbuilding hall on the IJ in Amsterdam-Noord. Its industrial setting and spacious character make it suitable for a wide range of events and productions. Organisers can hire spaces for conferences, trade fairs, corporate parties, presentations, workshops, fashion shows and photo shoots, among other events. Film shoots, exhibitions, performances and parties are also possible.
Several spaces are available inside the hall, each with its own character. Noordstrook stands out for its large dimensions and natural light. Underskate is a versatile space for events such as a party, workshop or photo shoot. Upperskate offers a distinctive setting for exhibitions, performances and meetings. NDSM Theater is also available to hire for gatherings, workshops, parties and performances. The spaces can often be arranged to suit your needs, allowing organisers to tailor the venue to their programme and concept.
The venue is managed by Stichting Kinetisch Noord and forms part of the creative community on the former NDSM wharf. Artists and makers work in part of the building, while other areas are available for hire and public activities. For organisers looking for a distinctive industrial backdrop for a corporate event, cultural production or photo shoot, NDSM Loods offers a range of options. Availability and hire options can be requested directly from the venue hire team.
