The Derby House

The Derby House is a privately bookable indoor and outdoor venue in Frankfort, Illinois, for organisers planning weddings, social celebrations and corporate events. Set across ten private acres, it offers a flexible setting for gatherings that call for more character than a conventional banquet hall. The venue welcomes wedding receptions, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, retirement celebrations, company parties, seminars, product launches and live performances.

The grounds and indoor space give organisers options for different event styles and ceremony arrangements. Guests can make use of the pond and pier, while the venue's entertainment stage supports performances, presentations and speaking programmes. Facilities include a large bar, surround sound, a wide projection screen, guest WiFi and accessible multi-stall toilets. There is also secure on-site parking, and organisers can arrange access the day before for set-up.

Food options are available in several formats, from cocktail-style small plates and casual party favourites to a buffet menu and late-night snacks. The venue also allows flexibility in how food is arranged, so planners can discuss an option suited to their event. The family-operated business draws on local event experience and provides tours and planning appointments by arrangement. With indoor and outdoor areas, practical event facilities and space for both formal celebrations and relaxed gatherings, The Derby House can accommodate a varied programme in one location.
