Union Event Space

Union Event Space is a downtown Rockford venue for couples, businesses and other organisers looking for a flexible place to bring people together. Its historic building combines original architectural character with a contemporary finish, providing a distinctive backdrop for weddings, receptions, private celebrations and corporate events.

The venue offers a main hall with an open layout that organisers can arrange to suit their event. The team provides tables and chairs, access to a catering preparation kitchen and a coat room as part of the main hall rental. The space can accommodate a sit-down reception for up to 250 guests, and couples can hold their ceremony and reception in the same room, with a room flip available. Two private changing suites give wedding parties a place to get ready before the celebration.

For smaller gatherings, Union's lounge can be booked for occasions such as business meetings, birthday parties and showers. It includes exclusive use of the lounge and bar staff, with outside catering and other vendors permitted. The main hall is also available for hourly bookings for corporate events, private meetings and social gatherings, subject to availability.

Union manages beverage packages in-house, while organisers can choose their own licensed and insured caterer. An event manager is included with main hall bookings, and the venue can share recommendations for local suppliers without requiring clients to use them. Situated among downtown Rockford's restaurants, hotels and entertainment, Union offers a central setting for events where guests can continue their plans nearby.
