Black Mountains Barns Ltd.

Black Mountains Barns is a rural venue in Longtown, Herefordshire, offering restored barns for weddings, parties and a range of other gatherings. Set beneath the Black Mountains, the site combines traditional barn character with a quiet countryside setting, making it suitable for organisers looking for a distinctive place away from town.

The barns can be hired for celebrations as well as activities such as workshops, yoga days and concerts. The venue’s own programme also includes live music and wellbeing retreats, with the barns’ acoustics particularly suited to intimate performances. Organisers can discuss their requirements directly with the team, including arrangements for wedding and party hire.

For seated meals, the venue states that it can accommodate up to 80 guests, while a seated audience can number up to 100. Tables and chairs are available, and a kitchen can be used by caterers for final preparations at larger events. Catering is not provided for private functions, but the team can recommend local suppliers or help arrange hire of linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

There is free parking for around 50 cars, with some spaces on grass, and a ramp at the barn entrance. The venue also has accessible facilities. Its setting, flexible event uses and intimate scale make it a potential choice for event planners arranging a wedding, celebration, performance or retreat in the Herefordshire countryside.
