Otoe County Agricultural Society

Otoe County Agricultural Society offers a collection of facilities for organisers planning celebrations, gatherings and other events in Syracuse, Nebraska. The grounds include several spaces with different layouts and capacities, giving organisers options for both social occasions and activities that need an arena setting.

The Kimmel Ag Expo Center can host up to 500 people and is available for weddings, anniversaries, auctions and other occasions. Its hire includes a catering kitchen and stage. The centre also has an arena area with a dirt floor, which can be used for activities suited to that type of space. For smaller gatherings, the Fair Center accommodates up to 200 guests and includes tables and chairs for most bookings, along with a catering kitchen, toilets and a stage.

An outdoor arena is also available for shows and calf roping events. It measures 150 by 270 feet and has lighting and an announcer's stand. These facilities give organisers a choice of indoor function space or a larger arena environment, depending on the event format and guest numbers.

The society's venues are offered for weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, livestock shows and other celebrations. Organisers can contact the society to ask about availability, rental arrangements and which facility best suits their plans. The fairgrounds are near State Highway 2 and Interstate 80, making the site accessible for local events as well as visitors travelling from further afield. The society also runs the annual Otoe County Fair, but its facilities are available for separate event bookings throughout the year.
