Horseshoe Bend Ranch, inc

Horseshoe Bend Ranch offers private space for organisers planning events in a quiet, rural setting near the Little Klickitat River Canyon in Washington. Its extensive working ranch includes open fields, meadows, wooded areas and canyons, giving organisers a choice of settings for gatherings that benefit from room to spread out and privacy from nearby neighbours. The ranch welcomes a range of group events, including historical reenactments, LARP gatherings, festivals and other large outdoor occasions. Its event space is also available to clubs, families and friends looking for a distinctive place to meet.

The site is suited to groups from a few dozen people to several hundred or more. Organisers can ask about camping in different parts of the ranch, and the property has space for parking. For gatherings that need shelter, an 1800s barn at ranch headquarters is available for occasions such as dinners and dances. The ranch also lists portable toilets and water for event use, with the water identified as non-potable. Its outdoor terrain, including existing trenches and fortifications, can suit organised play and reenactment activities.

As a working cattle, hay and wheat ranch, Horseshoe Bend Ranch combines a wide-open landscape with practical options for hosting groups. Event arrangements are discussed directly with the ranch, allowing organisers to explain their group size and plans and ask which areas and facilities may suit. The location is particularly relevant for organisers seeking a secluded outdoor venue for a large, active or overnight gathering rather than a conventional function room.
