The Stodola

The Stodola is a family-run barn venue in Prince George, Virginia, set on a farm with roots dating back to 1907. Its wooded surroundings and rustic character provide a setting for weddings, receptions and a range of other gatherings, including family reunions, business events, holiday parties and nonprofit occasions.

The barn can accommodate up to 200 guests and is climate controlled when its doors are closed. For ceremonies, couples can choose from outdoor locations, including a setting beside a salvaged silo, while the grain-bin gazebo and covered outdoor area offer additional places for guests to gather. The grounds also provide a variety of backdrops for photographs.

The venue's facilities are designed to support both organisers and their suppliers. There are separate dressing rooms for the wedding party, on-site toilets, ample parking and an accessible entrance. Caterers have a dedicated preparation room with a commercial refrigerator, freezer and warming equipment, as well as convenient vendor parking. A bar and beverage station, 25 round tables, 300 white chairs and two large televisions are also available.

Event organisers can enquire about hourly hire for non-wedding gatherings, while couples can arrange a visit to explore the property and discuss their plans. With indoor reception space and several outdoor areas, The Stodola offers a flexible location for celebrations ranging from intimate occasions to larger events.
