Artista Cafe & Gallery

Artista Cafe & Gallery is an independent event venue in Brighton, offering a flexible setting for private celebrations, creative projects and business gatherings. The space is arranged across two floors, with a welcoming cafe-bar downstairs and an upstairs room with a vintage living-room character and natural light. Organisers can hire the venue for events of up to 100 people, with the layout suited to different formats and occasions.

Private hire options include birthday and Christmas parties, hen and stag celebrations, staff gatherings, meetings, classes, workshops and team events. The venue also welcomes organisers planning exhibitions, book launches, live music, comedy, theatre, spoken-word performances, film screenings and other cultural events. Its history of hosting a broad range of creative activities makes it a practical choice for organisers looking for a more intimate, informal setting than a conventional function room.

Artista also offers rehearsal space for bands, comedy, theatre and other performing arts. Rehearsal facilities include a PA system, room microphone and a video camera connected to a computer, allowing performers to record and review their sessions. The venue is available to promoters and bookers who want to stage public events, as well as to people developing one-off workshops, pop-ups or other projects. Located in Brighton Square, it is close to the seafront and central Brighton attractions. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss their plans, availability and hire arrangements.
