Louiza Event Space

Louiza Event Space is a flexible Portland venue for organisers looking to bring people together in a warm, relaxed setting. Its light-filled interior has a casual lounge feel, with sofas, chairs and tables that can be arranged to suit the occasion. A small stage provides a focal point for talks, performances and presentations, while the adaptable layout works for both seated gatherings and informal events.

The venue welcomes a broad range of bookings, including weddings and receptions, birthday celebrations, showers, fundraisers, nonprofit and community gatherings, retreats, celebrations of life and corporate meetings. Organisers can work with the team to shape the space around their plans, whether they want hands-on assistance or prefer to manage the details themselves. Support is available with planning, bar service and rental coordination.

Louiza offers a full bar service and can connect organisers with catering options. Venue amenities include in-house sound, with additional audiovisual equipment available to hire. A service kitchen can also be rented for event use. The furnishings and room layout can be adapted to create an atmosphere suited to a meeting, reception or social celebration.

Based in north-east Portland, Louiza is a community-minded venue with a personal approach to hosting. The team aims to make the space feel welcoming to different groups and occasions, and offers nonprofit discounts and some flexibility around budgets. For event planners seeking an intimate, customisable location with practical support on site, Louiza provides a versatile setting for gatherings with a local character.
