Cluny Castle

Cluny Castle offers event organisers exclusive use of a historic Scottish castle and its surrounding estate in Aberdeenshire. Set within extensive grounds, the venue provides a distinctive setting for weddings, private celebrations, milestone occasions and corporate retreats. Its characterful interiors and landscaped parkland give organisers a choice of backdrops for both formal gatherings and relaxed outdoor activities.

Weddings are a central part of the offering, with a dedicated planning team to guide couples from their initial enquiry through to the celebration itself. Ceremonies can take place in the private chapel, in selected rooms inside the castle or in the grounds. For receptions, the Tenants Hall accommodates dinner and dancing, while larger celebrations can use a marquee site on the estate. The castle can also host smaller weddings and intimate gatherings, with exclusive use and accommodation available for guests.

For corporate occasions and private events, organisers can discuss tailored use of the castle and estate. Options include dinners, workshops, family celebrations and team activities, with outdoor pursuits such as lawn games, clay-pigeon shooting and woodland walks available to complement a gathering. The property is also available for selected film, television and commercial photography projects, with arrangements shaped around the needs of each production.

Cluny Castle is a flexible venue for organisers seeking a private country-estate setting, whether planning a wedding weekend, a company retreat or a one-off celebration. Enquiries can be made directly to discuss availability, visit the property and consider how its rooms, grounds and accommodation could suit the event.
