De Werkplaats Leiden rents out a small-scale meeting venue by the water in Leiden. It is suitable for teams who want to meet, brainstorm or make plans away from their own office, and for trainers and coaches looking for a quiet space for a meeting or session. A work session or small-scale celebration is also possible.
The main room, De Waterkant, covers 50 m². The large table can seat up to eight people. More participants can be accommodated in a circle layout. There is an additional 45 m² adjoining space that can be used as a breakout space. Sliding doors make it possible to close off the rooms from one another, which is useful when participants are working in smaller groups or need privacy.
The venue is suitable for meetings, training sessions, workshops and coaching sessions. For training sessions, equipment including a flip chart, paper, markers and post-it notes is available. Wi-Fi is provided, and a television with an HDMI connection can be used for an extra charge. Coffee, tea and mint-infused water are available. On request, De Werkplaats Leiden can provide breakfast, lunch, a snack or drinks, in collaboration with local caterers.
The room is available to hire during office hours, with a minimum booking of two hours. The venue is about a ten-minute walk from Leiden Centraal station. Paid parking is available nearby, and Lammermarkt car park is also within walking distance. Organisers who would like to add a boat trip through Leiden to their event can enquire about boarding from the jetty.
